A very warm welcome to the December/Winter 2021 edition. What a year it’s been for so many different reasons, although it has to be said that it’s been a great year especially for the investment positivity in Menorca with all the new restaurants, hotels and of course the Hauser & Wirth gallery. Hopefully, this will also benefit other market sectors and businesses on the Island, something that can only be good for the future economy going forward into 2022 and beyond.

A feeling of optimism is finally in the air and it is something that we should all embrace after the last two years. At the time of going to press, it is fantastic to hear that Easy Jet is scheduling flights to/from London over the winter – if only they could serve those who live ‘Up North’!

As the winter holiday season is nearly here, we can look forward to getting together to celebrate with family and friends, especially for those who have not been able to see each other during the covid restrictions around the world. Which is a reminder, that as Christmas is fast approaching, don’t forget to buy a subscription to ROQUETA – it is an ideal Christmas present for your friends and family.
