After a slow start to the season, it is fantastic to see that Menorca is now finally bustling and busy again with visitors, holidaymakers and villa owners from many destinations. Hopefully many of you will have been able to return to the Island over the last month or so, despite all the uncertainties around travel restrictions, which as we know are forever changing and are frustrating at the best of times. However, perseverance prevails and it is well worth the effort to be able to find some quality time to relax and escape from the pressures of everyday life – even if it’s just for an afternoon or two for those of us who live here!

So here we are in the heat of the summer enjoying the beauty of Menorca – crystal blue waters, clear blue skies and plenty of sunshine – just what we need to lift our spirits. The ROQUETA TEAM has been as busy as ever travelling around the Island to bring you all the latest news and updates which we hope you will enjoy reading.

One of the most exciting events to happen recently is the opening of the Hauser & Wirth Menorca gallery on the Isla del Rei – it is a joy to behold and a visit is very highly recommended. Such a fantastic achievement that unquestionably puts Menorca very firmly on the map with art, culture and gastronomy at the forefront. Most encouraging too is the amount of investment that is taking place here from hotels and restaurants to art galleries and retail stores – perhaps we are turning the corner – it is long overdue and long may it continue.
