27th May Hats & Horses Menorca
Maó Municipal Hippodrome from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

2 June: Flor de Sal Clarinet Concert
Concert performed by Joan Mesquida on the clarinet, 8.30 pm at
Calós Theatre Ciutadella. Joan Mesquida has been the conductor of the Ciutadella
Music Band for many years. Calós Theatre is located in Carrer Maria Auxiliadora 38,
Ciutadella. Tickets for the concert can be obtained from the secretary’s office located
inside Calós Bar, (address Avinguda de la Constitució 57, Ciutadella), from 7.30 pm on
2nd June (one hour before the start of the concert). Tickets: 20€.
6 and 13th June Es Castell Guided Tours
Tours of Es Castell town centre in English at 7 pm on 6th and 13th June. Then in Spanish and
English every Saturday at 7 pm, from 17 June to 9 September. Departing from the tourist
information centre in the windmill Molí de sa Creu, Plaça s’Arraval Vella, Es Castell.
Free. Places can be booked by phoning 971 3674 37, or you can just turn up at the start.
27 July and 25/26th August Pedra Viva Festival
Music and scenic arts festival in beautiful locations.
27 July: Rufus Wainwright performing Folkocracy, 9 pm at Torre-Saura.
25 and 26 August: Els Pirats, (an adaptation of the Gilbert and Sullivan musical
comedy, The Pirates of Penzance), 9 pm at Torre-Saura.
